Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm Review

Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm

Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm

I never used a makeup primer before applying my makeup, I didn’t even know what it was. By using a makeup primer I’ve noticed my pores aren’t as clogged as they were before, my makeup lasts, and also makes my makeup even. When I found out about primer my goal was to find the best. I tried Philosophy The Present primer and I didn’t really like it honestly it caked, it’s a white “translucent” cream and formed white patches on my face, and then I found out it contained formaldehyde* then I wanted to see what else was out there. During that time Too Faced came out with their own version of BB cream called Tinted Beauty Balm . What is BB cream? BB cream is popular in Asia its a primer, foundation, anti-aging, whitener, and sunblock all in one. I did my research before Too Faced came out with this product, and I didn’t really want to try a product that lightened/whitened my skin because most BB creams do that. I felt that my skin would have a uneven color, plus the different shades of BB cream are very light, and I also read reviews that they leave a grey tint to your face. Imagine how it would look on my face? I imagine dirty haha. So when I heard Too Faced came out with their own version I had to try. I’m going to list everything this beauty balm contains according to the box.

PLEASE WATCH MY YOUTUBE REVIEW HERE IF YOU DON’T FEEL LIKE READING THIS POST I EXPLAIN IT IN THE VIDEO THE BEAUTY BALM REVIEW STARTS AS SOON AS YOU PLAY IT AND THE AMAZING FACE POWDER FOUNDATION REVIEW IS AT 2:51 AND YOU CAN SEE HOW I APPLY IT AND WHAT I LOOK LIKE BEFORE AND AFTER ON 4:23 WARNING NO MAKEUP! Too Faced Amazing Face Powder Foundation Review 2.5/5

Too Faced Amazing Face Powder Foundation and Too Faced Powder Poof brush

Too Faced Amazing Face Powder Foundation and Too Faced Powder Pouf brush

I personally don’t like using foundation. Every foundation I’ve tried I find it cakey, heavy, and thick. That’s why I like using powder foundation. I used to wear MAC’s Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation for years. I’d wear colors C4 when I was my “normal” color and C6 when I used to tan so right now I’m in between those colors and sometimes I’d buy both and blend them because C5 doesn’t exist. Yes it gave me a flawless look but it is pretty heavy, made me oily and breakout. Like the makeup addict that I am I decided to try different makeup brands. I tried MAKE UP FOR EVER Duo Mat Powder Foundation I felt it didn’t give me the coverage that I wanted for it being a foundation, and it was too powdery. I kept my eye on Too Faced brand because I thought it was cute, pink, and Victorian looking. I decided to try it and I bought the Tinted Beauty Balm when I purchased this product also.

Pros:

  • Light on my face
  • Contains SPF 15 great for protection against UV rays (no wrinkles)
  • Paraben free
  • Vegan friendly and no animal testing

Cons:

  • Light to medium coverage
  • It has sort of a reddish undertone and its noticeable on my face/neck I am a yellow undertone
  • Has small quantity compared to other makeup brands I’ve tried so it runs out super fast
  • Low SPF

Too Faced Amazing Face Powder Foundation is $32.00 on http://www.toofaced.com .32 oz 9 g. My color was Perfect Nude (medium) and right now it is Honey Beige (medium tan)

UPDATE:

The powder pouf brush absorbs a lot of powder inside the brush
